Job Description
We are looking for a 1 x well qualified and experienced therapists to join our team.

Your job role will include the following: –
±
- Assess clients and confer with them about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful.
- We offer a range of different types of massage from Thai, Thai Oil, Aromatherapy, Foot, Deep Tissue Sports Massage and Hot Stone Massage therefore you will need to provide a high standard of massage across at least 2 of these different forms.
- Ensure all tools are ready and primed for the days work prior to your first customer.
- Provide a clean and hygienic treatment room at all times ensuring clean sterilised tools are used on all occasions and that clean towels / massage bedding is changed with every client.
- Handle cash / Credit (Eftpos) payments
- Liaising and helping the other Thai Therapists as required (fluent in Thai therefore is also a requirement).
Who exactly are you looking for?
In order to be considered for this position you will need at least a basic Traditional Thai Massage qualification of no less than 150 hours.

Other qualifications in Thai Massage techniques as listed above would also be advantageous. Further to this if you do have experience with Waxing and Manicures/Pedicures this too would be advantageous

We require you to have at least 3 years verified and proven experience in a Thai Massage Clinic or Spa specialising in one or more of the following

- Traditional Thai Massage (essential),
- Thai Foot Massage
- Thai Medical Massage
- Thai Oil Massage.

To be successful you will have a passion for Thai Massage and a possess a personal desire to help care for our clients to the best of your abilities.
This position will require you to work on weekends and evenings.

Furthermore, any therapist found to be performing this wrongdoing would have to repay all the invested money into bringing therapist to New Zealand***

We like to operate with 4 full time therapists (includes my partner).

We are currently down to just my partner (and a part timer) but we do have an application pending with NZ Immigration for 1 x therapist.

We are looking for therapists that offer great quality massage, enjoy being busy, understand the meaning of team work and wants to see our business remain as the best and busiest massage centre in Auckland.
About Customer
Our customers are mostly very nice people who do demand a good quality massage. We have a lot of referrals from current customers who are happy with our service and we aim to make sure that they keep on returning and recommending us.
Happy, friendly, chatty staff earn more tips and get more repeat business.
About the shop
We have been operating here for 5 years, we are normally very busy and we have 3 treatment rooms plus an additional 2 x chairs for foot reflexology / manicures / pedicures. We have 2 floors with the 3 massage / treatment rooms upstairs.

We are in a good area of Auckland with a train station very close by and buses running past our front door.

We pride ourselves in the way our shop looks compared to our competitors and we are also very proud to always do our best for the customer.
Accommodation for therapists
We will be looking to rent suitable accommodation for the therapists close by (previously the therapists have stayed / lived in the massage centre) so will need to secure this asap once the new therapists have been secured. If this does take a few weeks to find the right accommodation the therapists can stay at the centre first, before moving into their accommodation.

The cost of electricity / rates will be split equally between the therapists and we estimate that to cost approx $42 per week
