Job Description
We are looking for an excellent massage therapist with basic techniques in the nail, acrylic nail and nail technicians. Depending on their primary qualifications, their role would be associated with the below.
- All types of Full Body Massage Therapy
- Reflexology
- Hair/Body Spa
- Foot Spa
- Basic Nails
Split between massage and nails would be 80% to 20%.
Contract: 2 years
Work time: 6 days a week, 10.5 hours shifts with 1 hour Lunch Break (shifts 9:30am to 8:00pm or 11:30am to 10:00pm)
Base Salary: Experience – 1800 AED from 1 year of experience, the more experienced therapist gets between 2600 – 3500 AED, based on negotiation and offer from the employer
Monthly Bonus: If the therapist hits 7x her salary she gets 800 AED
Who exactly are you looking for?
Therapist must have:
- Have at least 2 year and above experience (starting salary 2,600 AED)
- Have experience in 4-5 star hotels and can do basic manicure and foot spa
- Preferably holds certified massage hours of 500 hours+
About the Work Environment
Work Week
Sunday-Saturday, based on scheduled hours, with one date off
Additional Infomation
We currently have 28 therapists in both branches and are hiring additional staff.
Commission Explained: Is called a monthly bonus system. The therapist has a single target to reach. If she provides services worth 7 times her basic salary she is entitled to 800 AED monthly.
About Customer
Our current location has pleasant/friendly costumers, mostly European and Asians. The pool is quite diversified meaning we have high end clients going for expensive services but we also have clients on the lower side spending minimal amounts on limited services. Tips are in general very good and our therapists live off their tips and not their income. Most of their income is being saved. However, it all depends on the therapist and her ability to hold on to clients and make them request her. It's a ladies' spa so all woman.
About the shop
We have grown into a full fledge spa offering services from head to toes spread over 2500 SQFT. Our new location will be as big and will be offering the same services.
Accommodation for therapists
All our therapists are provided with accommodation and transport allowances and this is included in their overall monthly salary. Once relocated, the therapist will be housed with a work colleague and is then free to choose a location of her own.
