Salary Netto: between 1300Euro to 2300Euro (depending on hours worked and hourly rate) 

In the Country of Slovakia – The Capital City of Bratislava is about 1 hour to Vienna and 2 hours to Budapest and 3 hours to Prague. It is a vibrant cultural city with nice city Centre and rich history. It has been cultural capital before. The city has about 600K people (similar size to Chiang Mai)

Company is one of the main delivery companies for the food in the Capital. There are 10-15 Other Chefs.

Work

• Work in city Bratislava (Capital city, 5 mins walk from the city centre) – will be Thai / Asian styled food for delivery across the city. There is no restaurant, just a delivery service. Location is very central, around 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre.
• Have to be proficient in traditional Thai dishes (pad thai, pad see eew, tom yam etc) have to be able to do noodle dishes (noodle in the box), soups and make sauces from scratch that will be adjusted for local tastes.
• Head Chef has to prepare menu/tasting/ingredients/ordering and work with vendors. Proficient in English
• Commis Chef has to be able to execute commands of Head Chef and speak basic English (ingredients).
• There will be rotating shifts and longer hours (until trains are operating). They will monitor the demand and maybe hire a local Slovak Junior Chef to handle. There are other 10-15 Chefs in the delivery place at the moment (doing Sushi, other meals)
• The chefs usually can log in as many hours as they want as the kitchen is very busy. The more hours you work, the higher salary you get.

Job Description

• The head chef needs to be relatively fluent in English and have basic knowledge in creating menu’s and selecting food ingredients and vendors. Minimum of 1-year experience in a place with a head-chef position (need recommendation letter). Ideally a total of 5+ years of experience. Salary around 6Euro/hour (net) for Head Chef and 5Euro/hour for Commis

• Contract minimum 2 years. Extendable

• Salary review after 6 months and monitoring performance of the company after COVID

Cost

• Applicant have to access Police Certificate, Chef Certificate and few other documents
• Visa Fee of 4000 THB
• A total cost will not exceed around 15.000 – 18.000 THB
• As the process of getting a work permit is lengthy and expensive for the client, the candidate needs to have a “skin in the game”
